Company Biography Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Crown Castle is the nation’s largest provider of shared wireless infrastructures for broadcasting and mobile telephone coverage. The company started in 1994, with 133 communication towers located in Texas. Today, the company owns, leases and manages approximately 39,600 towers in the United States, including Puerto Rico, and approximately 1,700 towers in Australia which provides cellular coverage for about 92% of Australians. Along with noticeable service providers such as Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, Crown Castle is a leader in the field of wireless infrastructures in which they are involved in ninety-two out of one-hundred US markets. Additionally, they lease out towers to various state and federal government agencies and broadband data service providers. The company’s vision is as follows: “To deliver the highest level of service to our customers at all times – striving to be their critical partner as we assist them in growing efficient, ubiquitous wireless networks”. Preface The following program was developed by a group of four graduate students at the University of Pittsburgh for Crown Castle International and acts as a guide for a stress management program to reduce the concurrent concerns associated to the effects of workrelated stress. The program was made to be accessible to any and all employees at Crown Castle, as they have a vast array of employees throughout the world. The following policies and protocols were developed through extensive research and implement a program around physical activity, workspace ergonomics, technology and resiliency. Each of these aspects of the program are defined in detail and give their importance to the maintenance and reduction of work-related stressors.
