DEC JUAN CARLOS RAMOS CAMPUS MONITOR CROWLEY HIGH SCHOOL The Crowley ISD Heartbeat Team Award recognizes employees who display heart as they go above and beyond their job description, inspiring other employees through their extraordinary work ethic. Heartbeat Team Award winners are nominated only by other district employees. A winner is selected monthly throughout the school year. On Juan Carlos Ramos: “He works above and beyond what is expected of anyone during the day. He anticipates our needs on a daily basis. There are so many times that I will radio him to see if he can do something quickly, and when he answers, he’s usually already got it done.” Robert Gillies, Principal Crowley High School JAN KELLY BROWN INSTRUCTIONAL COACH/STEM COORD. SUMMER CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL On Kelly Brown: “She helps everything come together. She helps with the Veteran’s Day Breakfast and she organizes field trips. Some people say that if you’re the STEM coordinator, that’s what you’re supposed to do, but she does more than that.” Stephan Reid, Student Summer Creek Middle School On Angie Wilkinson: FEB ANGIE WILKINSON AVID DISTRICT DIRECTOR CROWLEY ISD The monthly Heartbeat Team Award winner receives $50 cash courtesy of EECU, a free meal from Aladdin Cafe and is recognized at a Crowley ISD Board of Trustees meeting. “Being around Angie is like being in a whirlwind of energy. She’s always saying ‘What else can we do for our kids in Crowley ISD and our families.’ It’s just a blessing to be around her and we’re blessed to have her in our district.” Annette Duvall, Director Crowley ISD College and Career Readiness
