Crowley ISD Earns National Recognition with Cenergistic for Energy Savings
Being “green” is saving “green” at Crowley ISD,
where energy efficiency efforts in the last 17 months
have saved the district more than $1 million and earned
it national recognition.
Since partnering with energy conservation company
Cenergistic, the district has saved $1,085,152. Twenty-
five CISD buildings have earned the Environmental
Protection Agency’s (EPA) ENERGY STAR Certification.
To earn ENERGY STAR Certification, buildings
must rate in the top 25 percent nationwide for energy
efficiency.
