Mark Ulrich went the distance on the mound for Carver , allowing five hits and strking out 10 , as Carver won a 4-1 decision .
Jon Kummer and Kraig Peterson each had two of those hits for Cologne . Alex Eichner pitched seven innings and took the loss for the Hollanders .
For the Black Sox , Ulrich was 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs . Sam Warner was 3-for-4 and Stuart Maes 2-for-4 .

The Wildcats finally got to play a league game , but it didn ’ t go well – Plato stormed ahead with all nine runs in the first three innings .
On the mound , Chris Odegaard and Nolan Lepel held Winsted to four hits . Odegaard fanned nine batters in his 7-inning stint .
Odegaard also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run and four RBIs . Derek Dittmer was 2-for-3 . Joe Nix and Kyle Panning each had two RBIs .
Winsted ’ s four hits were scattered among Tony Kley , Jake Prehn , Curtis Herbolsheimer , and Luke Theisen .
After the rough start pitching for Shane Khan , Kley threw five innings of no-hit relief , striking out six .

Hayden Meyer got the win with seven innings of pitching , scattering seven hits . Jason Bullis finished up the last two innings .
Watertown tallied its only run in the seventh with Marshall Kelzer getting the RBI as PJ Hangartner scored .
For New Germany , Adam Lehrke , Blake Pistulka , Koty Hensel , and Sam Schiffman had two hits apiece .

After Hamburg went ahead 2-1 in the fourth , the Brewers erupted with four runs of their own and went on to a 7-2 victory .
Brandon Ebert knocked in three of those runs . Teddy Petersen had two hits . Glencoe had only seven hits in the game , but four of them went for extra bases .

In an early season rematch of last year ’ s state championship game , Green Isle used a 4-run third inning rally to come out on top this time .
Plato responded with single runs in the fourth and fifth , but Irish pitchers Alex Twenge and Mac Zachow held off any further scoring . Twenge got the win with eight innings of work .
Adam Prehn took his first loss for Plato , also with eight innings on the mound .
The Irish were led by Zach Herd and Zachow with two hits each . Brian Scherschligt had two RBIs with one hit , a double .
For the Bluejays , Matt Odegaard and Prehn had two hits apiece . Odegaard ’ s was a triple .
