Glencoe scored twice in the top of the first at Waconia , but the lead didn ’ t last long as the Lakers came back with five of their own in the bottom half of the inning , going on to an 11-3 decision .
Chris Bullis was 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Waconia . Jeremy Salden also was 2-for-4 with one RBI .
Dylan Lindner threw the first six innings for the victory with Ryan Naughton keeping the door closed in the final three .
The Brewers managed four hits – one each by Brody Bratsch , Gannon Jordahl ( a double ), Mason Goettle , and Jaime Paumen .
Paumen was the starting pitcher , settling in after the rocky start to go six innings , with Colt Trebesch and Derek Bratsch each tossing an inning of relief .

Offensive leaders were Zach Herd going 3-for-3 , Alex Twenge 2-for-3 with a double and home run while plating 4 RBIs , Andrew Leonhardt 3-for-4 , Aaron Bigaouette 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs , and Ben Alexander 2-for-3 .
Bjorn Hansen and Josh Schmdit split the pitching duties , blanking the Saints until single runs in the final two frames .
Randy Ebert stayed on the mound the

It was a classic Memorial Day pitchers ’ duel as Watertown scored a single run in the top of the first and it held up the rest of the game .
Andrew Nichols went 8 1 / 3 innings for Watertown , allowing only three hits and no runs while striking out four . PJ Hangartner came in with the bases loaded and worked out of the jam for the save .
For Brownton , Dylan McCormick went the full nine , yielding only five hits and punching out seven , but he took the loss .
The Bruins got their hits from Josh Dietz , Deryk Randt , and Ryan Grams .
Ryan Hangartner had two for the Devils , with Pat Tschida , Jared Duske , and PJ Hangartner getting one each . Ryan Lane had the only RBI of the game .
Plato 8 , Hamburg 2
Mon ., May 30
Hamburg scored twice in the first and gave the division-leading Bluejays all they could handle for more than half the game .
Plato finally got to Hawks starter Spencer Nelson in the sixth as the Bluejays tallied three runs to slip ahead . In the eighth , Plato erupted for five more to allow some breathing room .
Jeff Hancock was 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead Hamburg ’ s attack . Wes Willemsen , Scot Arganbright , and Tim Willems also hit safely

Once Plato got going , Chris Odegaard and Ben Slater accounted for three RBIs each . Odegaard was 3-for-4 with a double . Slater and Nolan Lepel were both 2-for-5 .
Odegaard also got the win on the mound for five innings of work . Adam Prehn relieve dand held Hamburg scoreless in the final four innings without a strikeout .
Green Isle 18 , Young America 0
Mon ., May 30
Leading 7-0 after seven innings , Green Isle went for the throat with 11 more runs in the eighth .
Meanwhile , Mac Zachow took the win for seven innings of work with Ryan Evanson finishing up the last frame . Together , they allowed only four hits .
The Irish had only two extra base hits in the onslaught , but 18 singles to go with them . Josh Anthony drove in four runs and Aaron Bigaouette three . Besides them , Zach Herd , Ben Alexander , Brian Scherschlight , and Josh Kraby had multi-hit games .
Aaron Cook had two of Young America ’ s four hits . Alex Bucketine started on the mound for the Cardinals and held the Irish scoreless through three innings , and to single runs in the fourth and fifth before things got away .
Winsted 3 , Carver 1
Mon ., May 30
Matt Elsenpeter doubled and homered in leading the Wildcats to a Memorial Day 3-1 win over Carver .
Curtis Herbolsheimer drove in the other two runs as Winsted tallied single runs in the second
, fourth , and sixth off of Black Sox hurler Mark Ulrich . Elsenpeter , Herborlsheimer , and Garrett Zander all were 2-for-4 at the plate for the Wildcats .
Meanwhile , Shane Khan worked 7 1 / 3 innings on the mound , allowing only one run . Jacob Volness earned the save , striking out three batters in the the five outs he recorded .
Carver managed only three singles in the contest – by Mark Ulrich , Anthony Gross , and Bryce Tuma .
Ulrich went all the way pitching for the Sox , striking out six .
New Germany 13 , St . Boni 3
Mon ., May 30
This one was over early as the Dutchmen chased Brent Oppegard off the hill with an 11-run outburst in the first inning .
Taylor Trick , Koty Hensel , Peter Kroells , and Austin Nichols all had two hits each for New Germany . Trick and Shannon Storley made it around the bases to score three times each . Sam Schiffman led the team with three RBIs .
Dylan Gilster started and went six innings for NG , getting the win , with Mitch Callister finishing in relief .
Logan Kinsel was the bright spot for St . Boni with a 3-for-4 batting performance and two runs scored . Dan Jerde , Nick Busch , and Mike Dabu had one RBI each .
Taking over in the first , Mike Dumas went the rest of the way on the mound for the Saints .
