Plato had another mercy rule win, topping the Cardinals 15-2 at YA as the Bluejays
scored in all seven innings.
Tyler Lang and Kyle Panning homered.
They each had two hits, as did Chris Odegaard, Joe Nix, and Adam Prehn.
The Odegaards shared the pitching duties
with Chris getting the win.
For Young America, Jon Werner led the
way with two hits. Adam Buboltz and Tanner
Kohls had the Cardinals’ RBIs.
Waconia 19, St. Boni 0
Sun., May 8
The Lakers also stayed perfect so far, crusing past St. Boni 19-0 in seven innings.
Kody Simon pitched four no-hit innings
before giving way to Dylan Lindner to finish
up.
Ronnie Olson had a five RBIs game going
3-for 5, and Jeremy Salden added three more
RBIs on a 2-for-3 day at the plate. Simon and
Ryan Naughton also had three hits each for
the Lakers, and Craig LaPlante notched a
round-tripper.
Waconia pounded out 20 hits, but only two
were for extra bases.
Dan Jerde, Michael Dabu, and Mike Mickleson tallied the hits for the Saints.

The Black Sox took control early with a 41 lead in the first, and 9-1 after four. Mayer
scored two in the seventh and two in the ninth,
but couldn’t crawl all the way back.
Mark Ulrich picked up the win with six innings of work on the hill, allowing only three
hits while striking out five. Ross Tichy finished up the final three innings.
David Dolan was 3-for-5 at the dish, while
Tim Campbell knocked in 3 RBIs on a 2-for5 day for Carver. Ulrich was 2-for-6 with a
triple. Andrew Weber and Brett Nelson also
had two hits each.
For Mayer, Nick Nolan provided most of
the offense, going 3-for-4 and batting in three
runs.Bill Stauffer and and Jake Hokanson
added two hits apiece, and each had one of
the other RBIs.

Adam Prehn threw seven innings of twohit shutout ball as Plato coasted again with a
12-0 decision over St. Boni.
The Bluejays scored seven times in the first
inning and never looked back.
Chris Odegaard, Matt Odegaard, and Derek Dittmer each had three hits. Dittmer led in
RBIs with three, while Chris Odegaard and
Prehn had two each.
Dan Jerde got both of St. Boni’s hits on a
2-for-3 day for the Saints.
Watertown 4, Mayer 1
Sun., May 15
In a battle of previously undefeated teams
in league outings, Waconia took it to Carver
8-0.
Justin Kohls scored twice and pitched seven scoreless innings leading the Red Devils to
a 4-1 victory over Mayer.

It was a strikeout fest in Brownton as the
Bruins topped Hamburg 7-1.
Brownton’s Dylan McCormick and Hamburg’s Jackson Schnettler each struck out 12
batters and seven and six innings of work respectively.
The Bruins had more success between
strikeouts though, pushing across three runs
in the the first, and three more later in the seventh to break it open.
Matt Schwichtenberg had two hits and two
RBIs for Brownton while Deryk Randt had
two hits and Ryan Grams two RBIs. Grams
also finished up in relief with three strikeouts
of his own in two innings.
