After our walk we decided to simulate single direction walks through a series of receipt roll pieces . Through this we imitated this idea that people are leaving a trail of receipts through their consumerism and we ourselves left our own mark of our finite passage through this time and space . Aldi was the first simulation route we made , as it was the birthplace of the concept . The breakage of the roll symbolises the inevitable buckling under the pressure of this purchasing of items . By leaving the rolls in their place we represented the physical disposal that most people do with the receipts they receive . By creating these mini sculptures every time , each one became an individual form maintaining a relationship with one another throughout Budapest . Some were left in the bins , some in the locations of the videos .
