The aim of our walk was to build up an archive of visual information by documenting how our individual experiences varied whilst taking the same route . We instinctively created a route on the way to our final destination of Aurora using the Vintage Gallery as a starting point . Our personal responses involved taking photographs , collecting objects and creating quick drawings . As a way of recording our walk together we took turns in mapping our route as we walked .
The Vintage Gallery is a white cube in the Palace district . We found it to be an uninviting space , it is very hidden from the outside as there is no obvious sign to tell you what it is . It seemed alienating and antisocial with a feeling of only being there for a certain kind of person to visit .
