This time Karsten has the day
off, so he joins Nicole and I on
a ‘Welcome Jordan back to the
West Coast’ hike. As we walk
along, we discover a skate dead
on the beach. It is an incredible
sight coming upon something
from the deep, briefly glimpsed
above the waves. By the time we
return from the end of the beach,
it has been taken back into the
sea leaving us only our memories,
and these photos, to tell the tale.
