There once was a young man from Kola, Manitoba,
who signed up as a student on a travelling university
program. On the first day he played some board games
with the young woman who would become his wife.
There’s video footage, and I was their leader.
As for the young woman in question? I volunteered with
her at our summer camp for many seasons. They now
live on the farm in Kola, and it is wonderful that I get
to hang out with them again. An evening and a day of
board games and stories await before heading onwards
to the provincial capital in Winnipeg.
