Crossing Canada With The Maplemusketeer Volume One - An Overview (June 2014) | Page 114
Edmonton has some interesting
architecture and, like all of the
places I visit, its own unique history
of place and peoples. On this trip
I’m often busy trying to spend
time with my hosts, go out and
photoadventure each day, plan my
next location/travel plans, and stay
somewhat up-to-date with posting
to various social media places.
This doesn’t leave too much time
for planning where I’ll go. I like this
because I get to find adventures in
unexpected places, and learn things
that are completely new to me. For
example, the Alberta Legislature is
on a vast piece of property that has
a large wading pool that families
and individuals go in to cool off!
Jackrabbits sometimes burst into
sight and run down the residential
streets! And there are magpies!
