Vacation Accrual Policy
Full-time employees earn PTO based on their job classification as follows :
Tier 1 ( up to 6 days in first 2 years , up to 12 days in 3 + years )— Division / Field Administrative support , craft , labor , and helpers Tier 2 ( up to 6 days in first 2 years , up to 12 days in 3 + years )— Superintendent , Foremen , Strawboss Tier 3 ( up to 12 days in first 2 years , up to 18 days in 3 + years )— Shared Services , EHS and Pickett hourly employees Tier 4 ( up to 15 days in first 2 years , up to 21 days in 3 + years , up to 24 days in 7 + years )— Shared Services , EHS and Pickett salary employees
If you had a vacation balance before May 1 , 2017 , that balance will remain and you will now start accruing based on your tier level . All tiers aside from Tier 1 , will have PTO balances available after 90 days of employment . Tier 1 ’ s vacation is available after 1 year of service .

Eleah Howard — AR Manager with the Crossfire Family since 2012

Eleah started out with Crossfire in 2012 as an Accounts Receivable Administrator and through excellent work ethic and drive to be her best each day , she quickly moved to the top of the team . In March 2014 , she became the AR Manager . To this day , Eleah continues to prove herself by demonstrating determination to keep herself and her team on a positive path . The girls in the AR Department at the Corporate Office all have a great relationship . Eleah is always making sure her team feels valued and appreciated with gratitude shown for birthdays , long weeks and new process implementation . Throughout the past year , Eleah and her team faced many obstacles . In the beginning of 2016 , the time entry team rolled up under AR from Payroll . They worked hard to get through this transition and developed new processes to optimize workflow and time management . Just a few months later , the integration with Strike took place and the process changed again . Although this was a stressful time with long days and weeks , there aren ’ t many people in the office , if any at all , that would say they could tell Eleah was under stress and let her mood affect her work . We should all thank Eleah and her team for keeping time straight and keeping our invoicing up to date !
