Dear Members ,
Autumn is here and the weather has begun to cool welcoming some of the best golfing weather of the season . As 2021 quickly approaches , we have all been reflecting on the past six months and all the challenges we all have had to overcome and the changes we have had to make in our daily lives . Covid-19 have been an eye opener for sure and has forced us to think outside the box to keep our families safe , our businesses open , and our sanity intact . Although Covid-19 continues to influence how we conduct business at the Club , make everyday decisions , and live our lives , we will not drop our guard and will continue to operate in a manner that keeps our members , guest , and staff safe . Thank you all for your continued support as we have navigated the many hurdles that have been put in our way in order to continue to operate safely . One thing that has not suffered is golf . Rounds played through August were up 28 % to 2019 with no signs of slowing down . We understand that at times , patience has been required when securing a tee time or occasionally having to wait for a golf cart to become available with so many choosing to take their own golf cart . Credit goes out to our golf shop staff for doing such a great job managing everyone ’ s requests while keeping wait times negligible . Trust me when I say , this has not been easy to do . Unfortunately , the current gathering orders and spacing requirements still limit our ability to offer
social activities at the Club which are always so well attended . Hopefully orders will relax in the very near future so we can once again move forward with the many fun activities that are members are accustomed to enjoying . In the meantime , we encourage everyone to continue to utilize the Club for lunch and dinner or for a bit to eat after your round . Thursday and Friday night dinner services are becoming very popular so make sure you reserve your table in advance with our Food and Beverage Manager , Nichole Devane . In closing , a big thank you goes out to all of you who continue to promote the club to family , friends and co-workers . It is our biggest opportunity for membership growth and member engagement .
