1 drop It’ s not too much, keep it together, keep it contained 2 drops It starts to hurt what people say when they think you’ re turned away 3 drops It starts to crack, not enough to notice in the light of day 4 drops They say“ try your best!” and then they turn away 5 drops Prove to them they’ re wrong, prove that you are here to stay 6 drops You succeed but it goes unnoticed anyway 7 drops You’ re done you’ re done but they still force you to carry the weighted tray 8 drops You’ re not okay but why would they care anyway 9 drops You pray you pray for someone, anyone, to notice you have gone astray 10 drops It cracks and breaks as everything comes pouring, flowing away
