SOUND: sound effects establishes location ,time or something happening off stage , in my film different sound effects and Foley sounds have been used to establish the story and location but the music in my film is challenging the conventions of drama as this type of music inclines more towards action genre ,this was done deliberately to create an intense feeling among the audience and to develop the story .
My film mostly uses the conventions of the drama genre so that audience could effortlessly recognize the genre of my film.
Mis- en- scenes: the lighting is normal as it portrays a realistic atmosphere, the costumes and props are according to the personality of the character (for ex the drug dealer wears a hood to hide his identity, he wears bracelet in his right hand) and the props like boxes of drugs in the background of this scene . the locations are according to the scene. Facial expressions are also very important as it clarifies to audience how a character is feeling to do this there some long takes in my film.
