"I remember the first time I cycled further than 30 miles. I was on a rusty old mountain bike that was far too big for me. I decided that I would accompany my Dad and brother on one of their ‘shorter’ LEJOG training rides. This was back in 2009 – little did I know back then quite how cycling would change my life. For some reason, we were up at the crack of dawn for this 35 mile epic and as we reached our half way point, I was hungry, my legs were tired and I was desperate for the loo! Arriving home was sweet relief and I slumped on the floor in front of the TV with a bowl of porridge. I didn’t move for 3 hours! That was my first experience of cycling – proper cycling! " >>>
