Verdict:
Tejay Van Garderen is a rider that could be a genuine challenger to Chris Froome in the time trials and if the young American has something to take into the mountains, he has shown this year that he might just have the ability to live with the big guys and be a difficult on to shake off. Yet, I still feel that a top 10 finish, a stage or two and the white jersey might be a better focus for Tejay this time round.
