The work-temperature index represents the thermal environment in which it is recommended to use the boots. It is represented with a scale from COLDparticularly cold environment, where it is recommended to use boots with thermal insulated lining, to WARM, where breathable and lightweight footwear is preferred.
Boots flex rating on a scale from 1-5. Most Crispi ® hunting boots have a moderate flex 3. A flex 1 is very flexible, similar to a running shoe, and a flex 5 would be very stiff. Boot flexibility is a personal preference but also can be beneficial for certain types of terrain.
