Accountants took the time to tell us more about
his company and their positive association with
the club, saying, “We are a firm of accountants
based in Grimsby predominantly covering the
Lincolnshire area. We do have clients further
afield, for example we act for a restaurant in
Devon.
“We are two partners and 15 staff, which
comprise qualified accountants, trainees, tax/
payroll and admin staff. We offer the traditional
mix accountancy services of accounts, taxation
and audit. We also offer advice/assistance with
projections, business plans, obtaining finance.
A popular service that we offer is an outsourced
finance function where we deal with all the day
to day aspects of record keeping.
“We have been established for over 80 years
and that success is down to the relationships
we form with our clients. This involves offering
a service that the client values and they know
that we will do our best to help them. We have
clients who we have acted for for over 50 years.
“The firm has been associated with the club
for about 5 years. Prior to and alongside this
there are long standing family relationships.
I have always been aware of the club being a
local person and spent quite a lot of time there
due to family connections, I was also a member
of the squash section for a time. Whilst at the
club everyone is always welcoming and friendly
and it has also been nice to see how the club
facilities have developed over the years.

currently takes part in the junior coaching on a
