A
mpthill Town Cricket Club can boast a large and highly successful Youth Section. Supported by Neves Solicitors
sponsors of the Youth Coaching Programme the Club continue to help and develop local young cricketing talent.
Ampthill Town Cricket Club currently has youth sides
at under-10 and under-12 with two teams at under-14
and two teams at under-16. In all the Youth section totals
nearly 100 boys and girls. In 2014 three teams were put out
at under-14s alone all playing on the same night showing
the strength in depth of the Youth Section. Additionally
the Club enters teams in both the under-13 and under 15
National Tournaments.
Ampthill have a dozen or more Coaches in the youth
setup divided into age groups with David Bradley Head
of youth coaching and Matt Barnes Lead Coach, from the
Northamptonshire County CC coaching staff.
