Going into the 2015 season, we have worked hard
to secure the signing of NZ overseas professional Tim
Seifert who has been playing first class cricket in his
home country and, at the time of writing, both First
and Second XI’s are unbeaten so far. Success on the
field is a great reflection of the work the Committee
and others put in off it and the mood around the place
is as positive as I can remember in my 10 years or so
of being involved.
I am really proud of the club and the people who
put in so much effort and time to ensure that we can
continue to provide a top class, successful, cricketing
environment for the senior players but I am equally
as proud of all those who ensure that we continue
to provide a community facility for everyone and a
place for boys and girls of any ability to learn and
play the game.
