Challenges
“Being a village club we rely on players from quite a large
area to come and play for us and it is making the club and the
cricket attractive to these people. The cost of maintaining the
facilities gets tougher each year and we are continually looking
at how we can maintain our income whilst still making the
Cricket as cheap as possible.”
Ambitions
“The ambitions for the club are to maintain two Saturday
and two Sunday XIs and to continually improve the quality of
Cricket that we play. We are continually looking to expand our
Junior section and then create a smooth route for these young
players into adult Cricket. We are planning to try to build a new
Changing facility and revamp our existing pavilion and this
will take a lot of time and effort as all as well as funding. It is a
