Bovey Tracey FOLLOW US ONLINE TWITTER.COM/CRICKETCLUBMAG evening as part of their squad training and again on a Friday evening where all of the Junior section is welcome to come along and be trained and coached by members of our 1st & 2nd XIs. Friday evenings at the Club is a real social occasion where the parents come to the Club and enjoy a drink and/or some food whilst watching their off-springs. When old enough, young players are encouraged to join the Seniors training on a Wednesday evening. We are very fortunate to be able to use the excellent cricket facilities at nearby Buckfastleigh Sports Club to host our 3rd & 4th XI home league matches. The youth section is very important to our Club, where we hope to see some of the juniors eventually reach the 1st XI. In five years’ time we would like to see our Club still competing at the highest level of cricket in Devon, with some of our players representing Devon C.C.C. Bovey Tracey Cricket Club aims to provide the best playing facilities and standards of cricket to all members and to be the leading Cricket Club in the region. Through a structured coaching and development programme the club will promote its youth through to the highest levels possible, playing at all times with a competitive but fair approach. Off the field the clubhouse will be a welcoming environment for families and new members, encouraging them to join and share in the success of the Club.
