THE YEAR AHEAD
2019 has to be one of the most eagerly anticipated years in recent
cricket history with a host of top-class cricket just around the corner.
The biggest highlight of all will be the World Cup which is to be hosted
in England and promises to be a terrific competition with many sides
capable of taking the crown. We will look at the event in a little more
detail further on.
There is far more on offer this year than
just the World Cup however and shortly
after the tournament finishes the Ashes
will be coming to England. Australia are
the holders after England failed to deal
with their pace attack away from home
and this series should be an entertaining
encounter with both sides struggling for
consistency with the bat.
