Yorkshire FOLLOW US ONLINE TWITTER.COM/CRICKETCLUBMAG “Phillip Stoner The Jeweller have been involved with Yorkshire CCC for over 20 years, during which we have been proud to sponsor them as their Official Jewellery partner. We designed and produced the famous Dickie Bird Clock for Headingly Stadium and over the years we have provided trophies for the players and staff at the club, including special silver trophies for retiring cricket players such as Darren Gough. Phillip Stoner have a great relationship with staff and players down at Yorkshire CCC and its great to see the club doing well. We have lost a few key players who are on international duty for the World Cup, but the club has a positive foundation and we have some great players coming through who have stepped up and done the club proud. We get to as many games as possible and it’s great to take the kids and family down to T-20 matches. We also take some staff and clients down to games and enjoy the club’s hospitality. We have a great stadium and facilities to use. I am personal friends with the club captain Steven Patterson and from all of us here at Phillip Stoner we would like to wish Steven and everyone associated with Yorkshire CCC all the very best for the season. We hope to see some silverware come the end of the season!” Jonathan Stoner, MD We have some big sports fans who work here at Tudor. Most of our staff regularly watch Leeds United at Elland Road and the Yorkshire cricket team at Headingley each year. We decided to explore sponsorship opportunities with Yorkshire CCC on the back of this and fortunately there was an opportunity for us to rebrand the famous Western Terrace (now the White Rose Stand). We have partnered with Yorkshire CCC for the last couple of seasons and hope that this will continue for many years to come. This year in particular is set to be a brilliant one. The new Emerald stand is now complete, we are due to host several World Cup fixtures and we will be taking on the Aussies at Headingley in August. This gives us plenty of excuses to take some of our staff and clients down to games and use the club’s great hospitality services. Yorkshire CCC is a local club to ourselves and we are very proud to be associated with such a fantastic community cricket club. From all of us here at Tudor we would like to wish everyone associated with Yorkshire CCC all the very best for the season ahead. 26 Issue 50
