Attorney Denney is engaged in the private practice of law in Ohio. He served as PAA National Legal Advisor for eight years and as District 3 Governor for two years. He founded the Mahoning Valley Ohio Cretan Chapter, Peroulakis-Theodorakis, and assisted in the founding of the Columbus Chapter. He is president of the Peroulakis-Theodorakis Chapter. He traces his Cretan lineage through his mother, Maria Maropoulakis, who lived in Aroni, Chania, as a young girl. 2. GEORGE A. PAPADANTONAKIS, Ph.D. George studied chemistry and computer science at New York University and the Universities of Chicago and Illinois. The professor is currently the director of general chemistry at the U of I at Chicago and conducts research in cancer biophysics. He is past president of the Cretan Fraternity of Chicago and is currently PEF Chairman. 3. FATHER EMANUEL PRATSINAKIS Fr. Emanuel Pratsinakis is the pastor of the St. Thomas Church in Cherry Hill, New Jersey under the Omofor of Metropolitan Evangelos, Metropolis of New Jersey. He is married to the former Maria Bousbouras and proud of his children and grandchildren. He was part of the organizing committee for the Cherry Hill Chapter of the local Knossos Chapter of the Cretan Society. 4. HELENE SEMANDERES Helene, a member of the editorial board of KPHTH magazine, is the chairwoman of this year's Christmas issue. She is also an active member of her local PAA chapter, Arkadi-Maleme of Pittsburgh, Penn., of which she has served as president and has directed the club’s dance groups for over two decades.
