The Crescent Arts Outreach programme is organised in partnership with community and voluntary groups , schools , hospitals , hostels and day centres to provide innovative , sustainable CityDance arts activities for the Festival

The Crescent ’ s Outreach & Education Department designs , develops and delivers art events , workshops and classes for all in our local community . All ages , abilities and backgrounds can participate in free , fun , creative activities whilst also learning new skills or developing existing ones . Crescent Arts Youth Theatre
The CAYT is proud to present their latest show ‘ Lessons in Life ’. Performances are on Saturday 11th February and a matinee on Sunday 12th February .
Our Crescent Arts Youth Theatre is open to anyone aged 13-18 years and is going from strength to strength . If you are interested in performing youth drama on stage , or if you would like to learn new skills in stage production including hair and make-up , lighting and sound , then just contact Ann at outreach @ crescentarts . org .
Siri Community Choir
Why not come along and join the Siri Choir each Monday from 11:00amnoon . The Siri choir is open for adults aged 18 plus and who have an interest in learning traditional Indian words and song . The choir is delivered at the Crescent Arts Centre by the lead of the choir , Arthi Nagarajan . This is free to join but you need to register .
Local Community Art Programme
Are you over 18 years and residing in Divis , Sandy Row , Donegall Pass or Markets areas of Belfast and would like the opportunity to learn new skills using creative arts ? Working with our local community centre partners at Belfast City Council and professional artists facilitators , we are able to offer you an exciting programme of classes and workshops ranging from sewing to scrapbooking and from printing to pottery ! We Care Arts Programme
Are you a Carer ? For many people , looking after an ill , older or disabled loved one doesn ’ t have a name , it is ‘ just something you do ’.
Not recognising you are carrying out a caring role can be a real barrier to accessing vital support . If you are a carer please contact us because in partnership with Carers NI , Belfast , we can help you get some much needed time to yourself by participating in fun and relaxing arts workshops .
