Local Venues

I live in the South East of England, so I luckily have immediate access to its bustling music scene. If you do too – or are willing to make a journey – then here are some notable venues that I recommend visiting for an awesome night. A short train ride to Southend grants you access to Chinnerys. This venue proves that there’ s more to Essex than fake tan and cringey accents. This club grants you access to energetic live music of all genres, from folk rock to screamo. This club also gives local bands a platform, so if you think you’ re ready to rock then give Chinnerys a heads up! bands, Die So Fluid at this venue. The experience couldn’ t have gone smoother – friendly atmosphere( which is vital for metal venues!), good drinks and superb music. If you’ re young and adore rock music, then do not fret – this pub allows over fourteens in! Rock on! I had the privilege of going to the O2 in London in early December 2016 to see the legends, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Don’ t be put off by cruddy tickets and a disorientating view – it turns out better than expected! I felt initially hesitant when I received my tickets but I ended up being able to see everything and being thankful for the experience.
Nambucca in Holloway Road is ideal to gothic rockers. Back in 2013 I saw one of my favourite
