Blue Lakes: Located in Ouray, Colorado. One of the best mountain towns in Colorado. Have incredible views of wildflowers and the beautiful alpines. Two trails will take you to 3 lakes with a magnificent view of the great Rocky Mountains.
Emerald Lake: Located in Larimer County, one of the closer lakes totaling about a 90 minute drive. A lot of people go through Estes to stop for some taffy on the way up to Rocky Mountain National Park. From Emerald lake you can also see Alpine Lake, not to mention stunning columbine and other wildflowers.

Garden of the Gods Loop: In Colorado Springs (four mile hike) This trail circles the rock formation at the center of the park. Feel free to bring your dog on this hike. Make sure to pack some water!
Chimney Rock Pueblo Trail: This moderate trail has an elevation of 7375-7643 feet which estimated takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to finish. Although it does cost a fee (12$ Adult, 5$ child) the end result is truly worth it.
