Softball
The Silver Creek softball team has slugged their way to a 11-4-1 start through September 27 and have defeated top ranked teams such as Broomfield and Mountain View. Hitting for an amazing .457 batting average with 17 home runs they are tough to beat. On the pitching side, the Raptors have put up a solid 3.20 earned run average with pitchers Kendra Green, Jetta Nannen, and Dana Dwyer dominating on the mound with a combined 77 strikeouts. Speedy Junior leadoff hitter Kayla Harper is off to a great start as well hitting .623 and controlling the infield at Shortstop. They are a well rounded team looking to make another deep run in the playoffs.
Game to watch:
On October 5th, Silver Creek Raptor softball team will be facing the Longmont Trojans at 3:30 at Longmont High School. The Trojan’s 9-6 record through 15 games and will provide for an exciting crosstown rivalry game, be sure to come out and support your Raptors October 5th.
