This was the program’s first visit to Grenada and it’s first ever youth program. The course responded to the challenge of attracting more youths into credit unions and co-operatives as members, employees and leaders. It expounded on current legislative and regulatory issues, good governance, the International Co-operative Principles, the financial climate and their impact on Caribbean Credit Unions. Participants on the course comprised of members of staff and volunteers. To date the GPSCCU boasts a total of Nine (9) CaribDE’s since the program’s inception in 2010. 31
