provide small loans to meet education, recreational and lifestyle needs during the summer months. The Loan Promotion offered
members $2000.00 to be repaid over a 12 month period. It was very successful, just dropping a little below the expected target

portfolio. An additional 342 Debit Cards were distributed during the period.
2.4.11 Sponsorship of the Secondary School Soca Monarch
The Secondary School Soca Monarch Competition was held on 6th August 2013. The participants included 13 students from various

was present to distribute flyers and event vouchers to attendees of the event promoting our Excel brand. The event highlighted
performances such as crowd favorite ‘Chuckie’ with his memorable song ‘insane’. He was the smallest of all the competitors but his
song, energy and delivery absolutely blew everyone away. Another notable performance came from the son of Calypsonian Finley

well as their peers reported the event as a learning experience.
