He doesn’t recall much else from them years, and skips ahead to fifth grade. He had gotten to school and noticed his one remaining guy friend had also moved away and that had drought the ratio to one male and six females. That year went fairly fast though until the end of that school year he had learned that they would be moving to a new town. He recalls when he told his teacher this news she had tried to bride him with a candy bar to make him stay, but he really had no choice. He thinks to how that classroom the next year would be. The ratio then would have been six girls and no guys. It was time for him to move. Well he did like the experience of moving he had learned that in this school middle school started in sixth grade not seventh. Which meant no recess, and as a kid that was a very traumatic experience. He had gotten settled into his new house in Hawkeye when the school year was just about to start.
He remembers being very nervous about joining a new school. That morning as he waited for the bus after he had gotten ready he felt more nervous than ever. That’s when the bus had arrived. He had walked out the door and some of his other siblings who also were of age to go to school had left the door open and the dogs had gotten out. So before I got on the bus I had to chase them and bring them back inside.
. He recollects that as being was very embarrassing, but he had then gotten on the bus and they were the first ones to get on. So he had gotten out of that very embarrassing situation. He later on the bus ride met two of his classmates. The first was Nathan, and the second was Makayla. When he had gotten to school he had to check in at the office. After asking someone where it was they directed him all the way up to the third floor (boy that was a lot of stairs). After checking into the office they were told to wait in the library before the assembly that was in the gym. At that assembly they announced the new students who had just arrived at the school. He was one of them. They then introduced to them a person who had close to the same schedule as they who would help guide them around that labyrinth of a school. The middle school days rocked by fast for Hunter the only thing that kept him going was the fact that he could now do school sponsored sports. He remembers all the games he went to and all of the friends and teammates he picked up on the way.
