1952 Farmall Cub Restoration Project
The project began in January of 2012; the
tractor had been in a small shed for 10 years at
the least. When we went to get it out,
surprisingly the tires still had air in them. The
was stuck which we kind of
expected and it had a one row
cultivator on it. It took three
people to coax the little tractor
up onto the trailer.
The first thing we
did with it was take
everything apart. One
thing we soon realized
was that it was a very
low hour tractor. The
bearings in both the
engine and
transmission showed
hardly any wear at all.
