Hello my name is David, I am a dad of 1 and I live in Hampshire.
In December 2004 I was suddenly struck down with Meningitis, which left me totally blind, since then my life has changed to say the least.
I now turn my own hands to making some fantastic soap loaves to keep me busy.
I currently have a number of tried and tested soaps, but I am always finding more and more combinations that get me excited.
From Koco cola, to raspberry and black pepper, and there are still many more out there...
How do I do it?
Of coarse due to my disability, I use a ready made soap base, as trying to measure it all out would be a task in it’s self..
Step one:
First I melt the base via the Microwave.
For this I cut the pre mixed mixture into chunks, and then place in a suitable jug.
Microwave on low power for 1min intervals until soap is liquid, being careful not to reheat.
Step two:
Add ingredients. You can try anything you like but in moderation. If using pure essential oils you need to add only 5ml-10ml.
Why not add Lavender seeds or orange peel. You may add food colouring if required.
