Hello, I'm Amber I've been modelling for 7 years, I started when I was 17 years old after a tough few years of school and not
going to college to follow my dream of photography through fear of bullies.
I decided to take my dream in my own hands and follow up photography, I contacted local studios etc and ended up the other
side of the camera instead
I was not naturally built for modelling, I was a little over weight, not a "model" look. But I worked hard, working long hours..
studying how lighting works to best flatter my features.
If I had any advice to give future models that would be to book a photographer and pay it forward, of course if you feel 1/2
test shoots are needed for experience then go for that too, there is no right or wrong. I just believe a top end photographer will
show you lots more than a hobbies photography (but saying that I've learnt a lot from either end of the spectrum)
most of all, there is no rules! Just enjoy yourself and get creative
This is your space, the more you express yourself the more exciting the images will be!
My goals are to continue to be publish in magazines, to travel, to make meaningful images that'll inspire someone going
through any troubles
I would like to be an icon, but never "famous"
I've always been freelance.. I have a non exclusive agency too !
