A NEW ERA OF TOY FAIR™ Reimagining the Most Iconic Toy Show for 2023
Anticipation is building for Toy Fair™ 2023 , and the iconic toy show is being reimagined with more tools , experiences , and insights to help industry stakeholders grow and succeed .
“ Toy Fair ’ s legacy as the most sought-out play product show remains strong , and this year guests can also expect to experience an event molded by the new realities and opportunities in today ’ s retail landscape ,” said Kimberly Carcone , executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association , producers of Toy Fair . “ This includes a longer timeline required for product tooling , earlier retailer input required to turnaround complete product in time for the following holiday , and a short supply chain that is not coming back .”
Toy Fair ’ s new fall timeframe is designed to better align with these permanent shifts in buyer-seller marketplace schedules and emphasizes the show ’ s continued commitment to its core buying and selling activity .
Additionally , Toy Fair will bolster its position as a meeting ground for education , media access , ideation , and business-building with new initiatives and programming . Toy Fair University sessions will cover topics including ongoing supply chain challenges , cosmic shifts at retail , toy trends , product safety , and more . Initiatives like the show ’ s new Visual Merchandising Initiative , which requires exhibitors to make product visible in at least 20 % of their booth space , and new product zones dedicated to everything from Halloween-themed toys to pet-focused products also aim to make the show more engaging and productive for all attendees .
