Expect the unexpected on the roads between Whangarei and Dargaville on August 27th 2017.
A stream of specialist vehicles ranging from vintage to modern day will take part in the annual Classic and Sports Car Club Daffodil Day Rally to raise money for cancer research.
Event spokesman Phil Shultz says the event always draws a big crowd. People come to see all the different cars and to show their support.
“We all know someone who has been affected by cancer in one way or another,” he says. “It’s good to be able to contribute to a great cause.”
This is a great time for all who have been affected by the hardships off cancer to get together and show their support as a community.
This year will be the 7th anniversary for the event which was originally started by the Vintage Car Club in 2010.
All proceeds will go towards Cancer Society Northland.
