So hard that becoming serial criminals seems the best option for life time best friends Blake and Mallory. After Mallory presents her ingenious master rags-to-riches plan to Blake, and they successfully guilts an enormous pirate into letting both of them on his ship and then subsequently getting thrown in the brig, they start to realize that maybe robbing people isn't as easy as it sounds. Turns out, the pirates they've hooked up with aren't really fans of unruly teenagers who have never been on anything larger than a dinghy, and they throw them out at the nearest port. For once, our heroes have their luck with them, as they get to sit at the dock and watch as a galleon plows through the ship they were previously on. Cheered on by this smile from Fortune, they go in search of dinner. Following Blake's nose leads them to a basket of chicken; unguarded except for a sleeping guy who looks too fat to really be bothered if someone were to hypothetically take the roasted bird. So Mallory attempts exactly that, in the process beating the man up with a stick and inciting a wild escape from the now very awake dude and his very angry friend. They arrive at a small cottage inhabited by a friendly, motherly lady, who gives them a fifteen year long overdue bath, burns their filthy clothes, gives them new ones, and tugs them into the softest bed either of them has ever been in. It would be the perfect break on their road to world wide notoriety - if not for the fact that they overhear the woman trying to bargain the pair away as slaves. The escape - and the adventure - is still far from over."
