Guilford enacted the campaign to free
Palaugrim from the clutches of Sin as
well as thwart their council’s attempt at
merciful genocide. While the majority
of this arc had been written in two separate POVs, the events happening in
the interim were closely tied together,
until they led to the release of Eve, the
God of Sin’s consort. While both Lethe
and Guilford achieved victory in this
campaign, it came at a high price.
Eve’s return arc. Even with their recent
triumph at Palaugrim, both Seraphs
still found themselves facing new problems. With Eve’s recent return to the
world of the living, the Immaculate
learned the hard way of how illprepared they really were against such
a threat. Palaugrim, which they have
recently liberated, was now under
siege from an unknown entity. Eve al-
so attacked Gless, the first island and
bastion of the Light on a whim, destroyed three towns and defeated
(nearly killed) Guilford in his
hometown, before she retreated to her
lair and began plotting against those
who followed the Light.
Following these turn of events, the Immaculate took measures to prepare
themselves for the upcoming battles by
training their newer knights and recalling more veterans back into service. Lethe went out on a hunt in Palaugrim for the one terrorizing the third
island, while Guiford stayed behind in
Gless to prepare a counter offensive.
In the interim, they learned of Eve’s
plan to attack two islands on the 13th
moon which placed the Seraphs and
the entire knighthood on a tight
timeframe. Knowing they have little
time to spare, Lethe shared her findings in Palaugrim of a possible staging

point in one of the towns, Santa Olivia, with the council, prompting a plan for a preemptive strike by both Seraphs.
During the skirmish in Santa Olivia, both Seraphs encountered Eve in the last stretch of
the mission, leading into a fierce battle that ended in Eve’s retreat after her encounter
with one of Guilford’s knights. The aftermath of the battle led to the realization of another
dilemma, Eve was targeting Palaugrim’s Great Seal, the one that kept the island afloat.
With these threats in mind, Both Seraphs took measures together with the council to ensure the island’s safety.
