~Sin~: The Plot up to Date
The story takes place in the present,
ten years after the First War against
the God of Sin, where the world had
been torn asunder and rendered uninhabitable in the aftermath. This generation of people, in their attempt to survive, turned to the last community of
the Pure (ancestors of mankind) for
help, thus heralding the birth of new
hope: The Four Floating Islands.
Despite their best efforts to restore
peace and order, the remnants of the
Immaculate (the order created by the
Pure to fight Sin) could only achieve so
little. Once again, Sin reared its ugly
head and threatened to consume the
last bit of hope the people desperately
held on to.
With the threat of Sin looming over
their heads, the Immaculate once
again sought the help of those who
fought bravely for their cause, the Pris-
tine Knights, and reformed their Order.
Determined to eradicate Sin once and
for all, the Immaculate have chosen
two among the many heroes that survived the First War, the knights who
managed to defeat the God of Sin to
become Seraphs—leaders of the
knights.
The story follows the adventures of
both Seraphs Guilford and Lethe,
along with their respective knight
squads, in their quest to find an end to
the long standing war against Sin. During these adventures, they encountered situations where their strength
and beliefs have been put to the test
more often than they would have liked.
One such situation was when both Lethe and Guilford encountered Lillith,
one of the God of Sin’s generals.

In that encounter, Guilford lost his Vice
Captain marking the first death he had
under his direct command. This led the man to question his own strength, the responsibilities burdening his shoulders, as well as his belief in the Light. His female counterpart,
though showed strength, internally blamed herself for the death of Guilford’s Vice Captain, adding more to the weight of her own problems she silently faced. This particular
situation was also the start of a chain of major events that ultimately led to the revival of
the God of Sin.
