special feature Dig out rarely used toys. Spring break is a great time to get out toys that you do not use on a regular basis. Get out blocks or Legos and build something. Work on a large puzzle together or set out the art supplies or playdough for an afternoon of fun., Board games are also a great way to pass the hours while making fun memories. Never forget that hours that can be wiped away by building a fort in the living room. Make your own fun. There are many things you can do to entertain the kids without leaving the house. Blow up balloons and see how long you can go without letting them touch the ground. Have a dance party or a picnic on the living room floor. Make masks out of paper plates and then use them. Play hide and seek or flashlight tag in the dark basement. How about having a paper airplane fight? Get creative and give yourself permission to let go of worries and just have fun with the kids. 11
