Children have fun relating to classical music when it is interwoven with storytelling . Music and Narrative , accordingly , has created children ’ s CDs that combine traditional oral storytelling with classical music listening . Children will receive the benefit of two art forms synergistically combined .
The CD , Nanushka , A Russian Children ’ s Story , is about a little orphan girl living with her Great-aunt Olga in a rural village in Czarist Russia . Isolated and having no one to play with , Nanushka resorts to creating makebelieve friends . Antics and misadventures abound in her quest to find new friends .
In the Brementown Musicians CD , the classic Grimm Brothers folk tale of four aging domestic animals takes on a charming twist as the animals , encouraged by a mysterious spirit , discover their strength by the beautiful music that resides deep within them . As a result , their lives take on a new meaning
