MATERIALS :
• Paper towel tubes
• Silver paint
• Foam paint brush
• Paper towel and paper plate
• Scissors
• Puffy paint in all colors
• Tape - optional
DIRECTIONS :
1 . Add a bit of silver paint to your plate . Using your foam paintbrush , paint the whole outside of your paper towel tube . Let this dry completely .
2 . Once the tube is dry , cut down the middle of the tube vertically . Then cut out small 1-2 inch sections of your tube , to create the holders . You can make these as long or short as you would like . We made 6 out of one paper tube .
3 . With each small painted tube , add a holiday puffy paint design to the front . You can make a tree , a candy cane or a Star of David for a Hanukkah party . You can add two or three different colors to each design . Let the puffy paint dry completely .
4 . Once the paint is dry , add them around your napkins as you set the dining table . I like to fold my napkins in an accordion style fold to make them fan out . If you have smaller and thinner napkins , you might need to add some tape to the back of the napkin holders to make them tighter .
Now they are ready to add to your holiday table !
