6 . Keeping on the school bus theme , try this school bus paper plate craft found at Glued to My Crafts . Gather your supplies : a paper plate , yellow tissue paper , black cardstock , black scrapbook letter stickers , glue , scissors , and a stapler . Cut the paper plate in half . You can make two school buses ! Cut a triangle out of the corner to give it the shape of a bus . Let your child practice his or her cutting skills by cutting the tissue paper into small squares . Squirt glue all over the plate and cover in tissue paper squares until the bus is completely covered . Let dry while your child cuts out the other pieces from the black card stock , like tires , windows , etc . Glue or staple the cardstock pieces onto the bus and have your child spell out school bus with the stickers . That ’ s it !
