1 . These monster felt pencil toppers from Red Ted Art are sure to bring a smile to your child ’ s face , and they ’ re really simple to make . You ’ ll just need felt , googly eyes , scissors , pencils , and a hot glue gun . Curl the felt around your pencil to determine the length needed . Cut strips into the felt lengthwise , leaving the last 2-3 cm uncut . Glue around your pencil with the hot glue gun . Repeat with a second piece of felt of a different color . Add googly eyes ! Simple and cute !
2 . This adorable bookworm pencil holder found at Easy Crafts for Kids is made with a toilet paper roll , green paint , construction paper , pipe cleaner , glue , scissors , and markers . First , paint the toilet paper roll with green paint and let dry . Next , fold a white sheet of paper in half and cut a circle , leaving a small section uncut so the two circles stay attached . Draw black pupils in the centers . Then , make glasses out of the pipe cleaner . Cut two hand shapes from your green construction paper and then a rectangle for the book cover in the color of your choice . Glue your bookworm pencil holder together and fill with pencils .
