spok to the wonderful Ty'Sheena Currin about her artwork. She does a lot of indepent work. Over the

years getting to know Ms. Currin she is very passionate about her work. So, I asked her a few questions to inspire others as well.

B: What inspired you to do the work that you have done?

TC: Mostly my own emotions, if I'm feeling sad or happy I reflect back to that and draw...um music helps me (laughs) and looking up pictures on google.

B: What would be your motivation for artist block?

TC: I keep pushing myself because of my boyfriend, he helps me embrace my skills and I keep pushing because one day I might see my art in New York or somewhere big. So I keep pushing and keep drawing no matter what!

B: What would be something you want to tell someone who wants to be an artist like you?

TC: I would tell them too never ever let someone doubt you, because it can kill you in the inside and also just trust yourself it's always someone around watching you.
