B: Do you get nervous before a performance or a competition? How do you get over it?
MS: Nervous, ALWAYS! But I keep my mind on my goal and each time, just before I get on stage, I pray to shake the nerves away. Works like a charm.
B: What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
MS: Advice, for those who are religious, say a quick prayer, and stay focused on accepting the calling. For those who aren't religious, just find an inner comfort and keep your mind on doing your absolute best!
B: How do you balance your music with other obligations - mate, social life, job, etc.?
MS: Juggling life is never easy without good time management. I keep a weekly schedule of everything I do with music and work. My family and girlfriend are never restricted to, or caught in, my schedule because they are just a part of my daily life in general. My social life is very different. Most of the people that I associate myself with are either fellow artists, dancers, or networking resources. So it all just works out.
