In this slam , Assistant Professor of Theater Erik DeCicco ( member , Actors Equity Association ) explores Method Acting , asking ' How far is too far ?' Famous practitioners of The Method include Marilyn Monroe , James Dean , and modern actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio , Cate Blanchett , and Heath Ledger . What is the method ? When and how do actors take it too far ? Are directors known for pushing the boundaries of this technical approach to the art and craft of acting ?

Orson Welles ’ Mercury Theatre comes to life on the Terry Concert Hall stage , featuring actors , an orchestra , and live sound effects . Enjoy this unique program when we travel back to CBS radio of 1938 . Directed by Deborah Jordan . Music composed and conducted by Scott Watkins .
