Join four-time Grammy-winning cellist Nick Photinos in recital as he presents Petits Artéfacts , a collection of recent short works for cello and electronics and cello ensemble , featuring Jacksonville University faculty cellist Dr . Shannon Lockwood and her students . Works for ensemble include those by Pärt , Frey , and Photinos , and Nick includes solo works by composers Mark Snyder , Gordon , Joachim , Shemesh , Jacob TV , and Ghys .

Scott Watkins Recital
Pianist Scott Watkins presents a solo recital of works by Mozart , Howard Hanson , and Tchaikovsky . The program features Tchaikovsky ' s Grand Sonata in G major and Mozart ' s tragic Sonata in C minor . Watkins reintroduces Hanson ' s Ballet from his California Forest Play of 1920 , a work still in manuscript and which hasn ' t been heard in public in a century .
